Our skills arm trains and certifies vocational competence against Nigeria's national standards, so an EDUSKILLS graduate carries proof an employer can trust. Programmes are being readied now; the trade areas and the framework they sit on are set out below.
Hands-on, instructor-led training in a trade, built on National Occupational Standards (NOS) rather than ad-hoc practice.
Assessment toward a National Skills Qualification (NSQ) and, where relevant, Trade Test certification from the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment.
Consistent content and assessment, so the same trade means the same competence wherever it is taught.
Structured curricula aligned to NBTE and the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF), reviewed as standards evolve.
These are the vocational areas EDUSKILLS is preparing provision in. Each maps to recognised occupational standards.
Our training and assessment are designed to line up with the bodies that govern skills and trade qualifications in Nigeria.
The National Board for Technical Education and the National Skills Qualifications Framework set the structure our curricula follow.
National Occupational Standards define competence; the National Skills Qualification is what a learner earns against them.
Where it applies, learners can progress toward Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment Trade Test grades (I, II, III).
We align with Industrial Training Fund practice and recognised national examination and certification bodies.
