Arm 01 / Specialist education

Education built around the learner, not the average

Our specialist arm is not a conventional school for neurotypical learners. It exists for children and young people whose needs are not met by mainstream provision, and it is staffed and structured specifically for them.

Who this arm is for

A specialist, not a general, setting

EDUSKILLS runs two arms under one mission. This arm is the specialist education provision: dedicated staff, adapted teaching and a learning environment designed for learners who need it.

Special educational needs

Structured, individualised support for learners with identified needs, built on assessment, clear targets and regular review with families.

Neurodivergent learners

Autism, ADHD, dyslexia and related profiles taught by specialists who plan around how each learner processes, communicates and engages.

Specialist teaching

Low ratios, trained special-education staff and adapted materials, so teaching meets the learner rather than asking the learner to keep up.

Safeguarding & welfare

Clear safeguarding practice, a calm sensory-aware environment and close contact with parents and carers at every stage.

OUR APPROACH

Assess, plan, teach, review

Each learner begins with an assessment of strengths and needs. From that we agree individual targets with the family, teach toward them with specialist methods, and review progress openly and regularly. Support is adjusted as the learner grows.

WORKING WITH FAMILIES

Parents and carers as partners

Families know their children best. We keep communication steady and honest, share what is working and what is not, and make decisions together. The aim is a consistent approach between the setting and the home.

What guides the work

Principles we hold to

Individualised

No two support plans are identical. Provision follows the learner, their assessment and their agreed targets.

Evidence-led

We use recognised special-education practice and review against clear, observable goals rather than impressions.

Inclusive

Dignity and belonging are not add-ons. Every learner is taught as a full member of the setting.

Strengths-first

We build from what a learner can do and enjoys, using it as the route into harder skills.

Enquire about a place

Tell us a little about your child or the learner you support, and we will get back to you to talk it through.
